Translated frolm a websitge: It is in Yusuf Pasa District, Sarayönü Street. The date 1121/1709 on the pulpit railing gives the construction date of the mosque. Nabi, the divan poet of Urfa, wrote in his divan about the construction of Yusuf Pasha Mosque, and stated that the mosque was built by Vizier Yusuf Pasha. Yusuf Pasha, brother of Cafer Pasha, says in the endowment dated 1122/ 1710 that he had a Turkish bath (today's Vizier Bath) built to the east of the mosque, the "Governors Palace" to the north, and the "Court of Appeals" near the Ulu Mosque. The Governors Palace mentioned in the charter must have been the "Old Palace" (Ottoman Government House), which gave its name to the present Sarayönü district and was demolished 50 years ago.
There was a Quaran class going on, but as I wanted to get images of the interior I got permission to take pictures (and disturb the lesson a bit).
