A site states that the inscription on the door of Pürsefa Hanı, located across from Gaziantep Mevlevihane, states the construction date as 1887. However, the inn burned down twice before this date. It is estimated that the first construction date was 400 years ago. The inn, which was used for various purposes such as accommodation and soap manufacturing throughout history, was restored in 2008.
