Translated from a Turkish site: "It is the first of the five foundation inns designed by Architect Kemaleddin Bey. The building was designed in 1911; and was built by the same architect in 1918 to add value to empty, dilapidated, and ruined foundation lands. It is an example of the 1st National Architectural Movement. At the intersection of two streets, the surface of the building is rounded; the importance of the corner is emphasized. In addition, a three-arched door opens from here to the commercial space on the ground floor. On the upper floors, there are 50 office rooms, each with ten rooms. That is why it is also called Office Han."
